What education do I need to get a real estate license?
You are required to complete a program of 90 hours consisting of two course: SC Real Estate Principles and Advanced Principles.
What do I need to renew my current license?
If you have salesperson or broker license, you will need 10 hours to renew. Four of the 10 hours must be in the current core course.
If you have a BIC license, you will need 10 hours to renew. Four of the 10 hours must be the current core course and another 4 hours of the 10 must be the BIC Mandatory elective
What is the difference between license renewal courses and NAR required ethics training?
NAR has an ethics training requirement that must be met every 3 years. Members must take a 2.5 hour course approved by a REALTOR Association as meeting the learning objectives put out by NAR. This requirement has nothing to do with license renewal. However, some of our license renewal classes will meet the NAR requirement as well.
Can I take my qualifying courses to get a license online?
Yes. We offer both Unit 1 (Principles) and Unit 2 (Advanced Principles) online so that you can complete the courses at your leisure.
Will I have an instructor to assist me if I take courses online?
Yes, Dianna Brouthers, CDEI, will be available to assist you from 8 am to 6 pm daily.
Can I take my license renewal classes online?
Yes, we offer license renewal classes inn a variety of formats: live, virtual, and online/anytime.
